Committee Description

Apple, Inc., once known as "Apple, Computer," is an icon in the consumer electronics industry. Since its founding in 1976, Apple has been on the cutting edge of technology with its hip easy-to-use products. Not only was Apple named the "most admired company in the United States" by Fortune magazine, it is a giant in its own right, with more than $24 billion in revenue in 2007 and 28,000 employees. Today, however, Apple stands at a crossroads; the launch of the iPod has put it back on the map, but its sales of computers - its core business - are falling apart and it faces a variety of legal challenges. Apple's Senior Management must face these challenges and come up with strategies that will ensure that Apple, Inc. stays on the forefront of digital life.
