Committee Description
The Cold War has begun. After Josef Stalin's death in 1953, a battle for supremacy is being waged in Europe and beyond between the intelligence agencies of the two Cold War powers, the CIA and the KGB. In CMUNCE's annual Joint Crisis Committee, delegates will seek to expand the intelligence operations of their own agency, while concurrently working to undermine the objectives and operations of their "main enemy." Since delegates will represent members of the highest echelons of the American and Soviet intelligence communities, they will be the primary architects of their country's grand strategy. Given that this committee is completely crisis-driven, delegates must be prepared to think on their feet and react quickly to the intelligence operations undertaken by the other side.
